The Atollari is an LED outdoor wall light with a cast aluminium body in a stainless steel colour and a silver central band that holds two white plastic shades. One cylinder sits above the band and one below it, so the light falls both upwards and downwards across the wall. It measures 23cm high and 10cm long, and it projects 15.5cm from the wall. Each of its two integrated LED lights is rated 4.9W and gives 360lm at 3000K, a warm white that reads as welcoming after dark. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall.

A motion sensor is built into the foot of the backplate and switches on the light whenever it senses movement, which is why we suggest it beside a front door, along a side passage or next to a garage. You get light the moment you arrive home with shopping or keys in hand, without hunting for a switch, and it stays dark the rest of the time. Corner mounting is possible too, so it can sit where two walls meet and light a path that turns. The compact size suits a narrow stretch of wall between a door frame and a window.

The LEDs are integrated and not replaceable, so there are no bulbs to buy or change over the years. The light is not dimmable and runs from a 220-230V, 50/60Hz mains supply. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
