The Apollo is a 510mm 4-light crystal chandelier built around a central satin brass column with four curved arms, each terminating in a spherical clear crystal shade surrounding a G9 bulb fitting. The brass frame is finished in a low-sheen satin that softens reflections while retaining the warm gold tone, and the crystal spheres are formed from faceted beads held in a metal cage structure rather than solid glass globes.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and smaller living spaces where a traditional multi-arm chandelier would overpower the room, the Apollo provides the visual presence of a chandelier format at a scale suited to 3-4m ceilings and tables seating four to six. The adjustable chain drop ranges from 490mm to 890mm, allowing the fitting to sit 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher in a hallway. The 510mm diameter suits tables of 1200-1600mm length without dominating the sightline across the table.

Each of the four crystal spheres houses a G9 capsule bulb (sold separately, maximum 33W per socket). When fitted with warm-white LED capsules the faceted crystal beads throw refracted light across walls and ceilings, creating movement as the viewer's position changes. The satin brass finish on the frame and chain reduces glare under direct downlighting compared to polished finishes, making the chandelier easier to live with in rooms with large windows or skylights. The 2.3kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg to account for dynamic load.

What bulbs does the Apollo take?

The chandelier takes four G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED G9 capsules at 2700K-3000K for ambient dining light. Total output with four 5W LEDs is approximately 2000 lumens.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 LED capsules and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Not all G9 LEDs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

What table size does it suit?

The 510mm diameter works well over dining tables between 1200-1600mm length. For larger tables consider the 5-light or 8-light Apollo variants. The chandelier should be centred over the table and hung 700-800mm above the surface for balanced light distribution.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit and allow bulbs to cool. Remove each crystal sphere by unscrewing the retaining cap at the base of the cage, then wipe individual crystal beads with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but dry immediately to avoid water spots. Do not use household sprays or polishes on the crystal or brass frame.
