Description

A two door wardrobe in solid acacia, 190cm high, 90cm wide and 60cm deep. The doors are made up of wide boards with the grain running vertically and strongly figured, and they meet in the middle on two slim vertical handles. The top overhangs a little, the frame softens into a curve at the corners, and the case stands on four tapered legs.

Inside, a hanging rail runs alongside two shelves, one of them removable, so the balance between hanging and folded storage can be changed. At 190cm high it wants a room with the ceiling height to take it, and at 90cm wide and 60cm deep it stands well forward of the wall behind it. It weighs 97.5kg, so the route in is worth measuring before it arrives.

The wardrobe is solid acacia throughout, hand carved and assembled, and finished in a deep walnut tone that brings up the grain. The figure in the boards is strong and varies from one to the next, so no two doors read the same. The Anbu range also runs to a bed, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, dining tables and dining chairs in the same acacia.

Frequently Asked

What is inside it?

A hanging rail with two shelves alongside it. One of the shelves is removable.

How big is it?

190cm high, 90cm wide and 60cm deep. It weighs 97.5kg.

What is it made from?

Solid acacia, finished in a deep walnut tone.

Will it fade?

Strong or direct sunlight fades the wood, and wide swings of heat and humidity can crack and split it, so keep it clear of a radiator and out of a sunny window.

How should it be looked after?

Dry dusting with a soft cloth is enough for most of it. Where more is wanted, mild soap on a barely damp cloth worked along the grain, dried off at once. Nothing abrasive, and no harsh chemicals.
