Description
The Amaya champagne bucket is 24cm tall and 36.8cm across, a wide stainless steel bowl standing on a turned foot of brown marble. The marble is shaped and polished by hand to a smooth, glossy surface, and the metal is hand etched so that it holds a fine texture rather than reading flat. The whole piece weighs 3.68kg empty.
At 36.8cm across it takes more table than a dinner plate does, so it wants a clear stretch of surface with room for hands and bottles around it. It stands 24cm tall, which puts a bottle set into it well above the glasses on the same table, and the low, wide form means it is read across a room rather than over. At 3.68kg before ice and water go in, it is set down where it is wanted rather than carried about full.
The marble is quarried in Rajasthan and is cut and polished by hand, so the veining, the depth of the brown and the run of the markings differ from one piece to the next. The metal surface is etched by hand, which is what carries the aged antique finish. The Amaya range also holds an ice bucket, a wine cooler, coasters and a cocktail set, all in the same finish.

How big is it?
24cm tall and 36.8cm across. It weighs 3.68kg empty.
What is it made from?
Brown marble and stainless steel, in an aged antique finish.
Will every bucket look the same?
No. The marble is natural stone, so the veining and the depth of the brown vary from one piece to the next.
What else is in the range?
An ice bucket, a wine cooler, coasters and a cocktail set, all in the same aged antique finish.
How do I look after it?
Hand wash only. Use a mild dish soap to clean it and rinse in clean water. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners away from it, as they can damage the finish.
