Description
The Amaya is a wine cooler, a straight cylinder 19.7cm tall and 12cm across, standing on a ring of brown marble. The outside is metal under an aged antique finish, etched by hand so the surface breaks into patches of bright and dull rather than running even, and a single raised line circles it near the top. The lining inside is left plain and brushed. The marble ring is cut from stone veined in red brown and cream, and the veining runs differently on every one.
A wine bottle drops in and stands with its neck and shoulder clear of the rim, so the label shows and the bottle lifts out one handed. At 19.7cm tall and 12cm across it takes up little more room on a laid table than the bottle does, and the marble ring stands the metal clear of whatever it is set down on.
The body is stainless steel and the base is marble. The stone is sourced in Rajasthan and shaped and polished by hand to a smooth, glossy finish; the metal is etched by hand afterwards, which is what gives the aged antique surface its patchy depth. Because the stone is natural, no two bases carry the same veining. The Amaya range also holds an ice bucket, a champagne bucket, a set of coasters and a four piece cocktail set in the same finish.

Frequently Asked
How big is it?
19.7cm tall and 12cm across.
What is it made from?
Stainless steel with a marble base. The metal carries an aged antique finish, etched by hand.
Does it hold a standard wine bottle?
Yes. A bottle stands in it with the neck and shoulder clear of the rim.
Will every base look the same?
Not exactly. The stone is natural, so the veining and the depth of colour differ on every base.
How should I look after it?
Hand wash only, using a mild dish soap, and rinse in clean water. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners away from it, as they damage the finish.
