This Christmas stocking is a beige Christmas decoration made for the mantelpiece. It is 44cm long and 18cm wide, woven, with beaded snowflakes scattered down the front from the cuff to the toe. The body has the open, slightly slubbed texture of a woven fabric, and a deep folded cuff with a soft sheen runs across the top, so the two parts contrast in texture while the colour stays the same quiet beige. It is made from acrylic, cotton and glass. At 0.15KG it is light enough to hang from a small hook, a peg or a door handle.
