Description

The Adastra RC9U450 is a 9U rack cabinet with a 450mm mounting depth, built for 19" rack-mount equipment. It's constructed from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, finished in an epoxy powder coat to RAL9004. Both the front and rear rack strips are supplied and mounted to internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units.

The front door is removable and holds a pane of 5mm tempered glass set into folded steel edge panels. It can be set to open from either the left or right, and comes with a lock and two keys. The side panels clip in for easy access, and the top panel is vented for cooling with a cut-out ready for a fan if you need one. Top and bottom knock-outs give you routes for cable feeds. The rear panel has fixing apertures for wall mounting, or you can use the cabinet free-standing. Maximum static load is 100kg total.

Assembly is straightforward, and the cabinet meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 and ETSI standards, so it fits standard 19" gear. The width is 600mm, and the range is available in two depths and various rack heights, so you can match the size to your install. It's a secure, well-made option for professional rack setups where you want lockable, ventilated containment.
