Description

The Adastra LX5T-W is a wall-mounted PA speaker built for background music and voice announcements in indoor or sheltered outdoor spaces. The moulded ABS cabinet is light in weight, which makes fitting to a range of wall surfaces straightforward. An integral 2-axis wall-mounting bracket comes fitted as standard, and the rear pan-tilt design lets you angle each unit for the coverage you need across the area.

Wiring is flexible. The speaker takes standard 8 Ohm (low impedance) input or 100V line operation, with two power tappings on the 100V side so you can match the load to your amplifier and setup. A switchable bypass removes the transformer for true 8 Ohm operation when you want low impedance performance rather than a distributed line system. This makes the LX5T-W suitable for both single-zone and multi-speaker 100V installations.

The unit carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, and the cabinet, speaker cones, grille and brackets are all weatherproofed for use outdoors under shelter. The grille is aluminium and the cabinet ABS, keeping the overall mass down without giving up durability. Sold here in white to blend with most external and internal walls. As a paging and music speaker, often called a PA speaker in the UK and a public address speaker elsewhere, it offers a practical and cost-effective option for shops, forecourts, walkways and similar areas where you need clear, even sound from a compact wall-mounted enclosure.
