The Knightsbridge 6A 1-gang 2-way dummy dimmer module is a standard on/off switch module designed to look like a rotary dimmer. The module features a rotating knob that operates as a push-on, push-off switch rather than a variable dimmer control, allowing visual consistency across grid faceplates where both dimmers and switches are needed.

Designed for installation in Knightsbridge modular grid systems, the module slots into standard grid faceplates and occupies one grid position. The 2-way switching capability allows the module to be paired with another switch on the same lighting circuit, enabling control of a single light from two locations. The 6A rating handles lighting loads up to 1,380W on a 230V circuit, covering most domestic and commercial lighting applications.

The matt white ABS and steel construction matches standard Knightsbridge grid modules in the matt white finish range. The rotary knob provides the same tactile operation and visual appearance as a functional dimmer, maintaining a uniform aesthetic across multi-gang grid plates where some circuits require dimming and others need only on/off switching. The module requires a minimum 35mm back box depth for installation.
