The Knightsbridge 6-gang grid faceplate is a 148mm square matt white steel cover plate designed for use with Knightsbridge's modular grid switch system. The screwless design uses a cover plate that clips onto a separate grid frame (GDS003F, sold separately), leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed.

Designed for multi-switch installations in kitchens, commercial spaces, and locations where multiple circuits need to be controlled from a single wall position, the 6-gang grid accommodates six modular switch or socket modules in a 2x3 configuration. The 3.5mm projection from the wall gives a slim profile that sits closer to the wall surface than traditional screw-fixed plates.

The matt white finish is powder-coated onto premium-grade steel, providing a durable surface that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs better than gloss finishes. The faceplate coordinates with Knightsbridge's screwless switches and sockets range, allowing consistent finishes across an entire installation. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments including residential, office and retail spaces.

What grid frame is needed?

This faceplate requires one GDS003F grid frame (sold separately at Niori). The frame fixes to the back box and the faceplate clips onto the front of the frame, hiding all fixings.

How many switch modules does it accommodate?

The 6-gang grid takes six modular switch or socket modules arranged in a 2x3 grid pattern. Modules are purchased separately and clip into the grid frame before the faceplate is attached.

Can the faceplate be removed for redecorating?

Yes. The screwless cover plate clips on and off the grid frame without tools, allowing it to be removed for painting around the switch and re-fitted afterwards without disturbing the wiring or modules.
