Description

The Knightsbridge TRLEDA151EM is a 5ft LED non-corrosive emergency batten delivering 3500lm at 4000K through an opal polycarbonate diffuser in a yellow impact-resistant housing. The fitting runs on either 110V or 230V mains and provides up to three hours of emergency lighting at 310lm during power loss, switchable between maintained, non-maintained and switched emergency modes.

Built for industrial, construction site, warehouse and outdoor canopy applications where corrosion resistance and visibility matter, the IP65-rated polycarbonate body resists impact, dust ingress and moisture. The yellow finish makes the fitting highly visible in low-light conditions and complies with site safety requirements where high-visibility equipment is mandated. The fitting mounts to ceilings or walls using twelve lockable clips included in the box, with optional stainless steel clips and suspension kit available separately.

The integrated LED delivers 155lm/W efficacy from the light source (3900lm before diffuser losses) and operates at constant current with a CRI above 80. The 140-degree beam angle provides wide, even coverage across work areas. The L70B50 rating of 50,000 hours indicates the LED maintains at least 70% of its initial output after 50,000 hours of operation, approximately 5.7 years of continuous use. The 5-year warranty covers the fitting excluding the emergency battery.

The fitting can be configured for maintained (emergency light stays on continuously), non-maintained (emergency light activates only during mains failure), or switched emergency operation. The emergency output is 310lm for up to three hours during power loss.

What does IP65 mean for installation?

IP65 certification means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed outdoors under canopies, in wet industrial areas, car washes, and unheated warehouses without risk of water ingress damaging the internal components.

Can it run on both 110V and 230V?

Yes. The fitting accepts either 110V or 230V AC mains input, making it suitable for construction sites running 110V transformer supplies as well as standard 230V commercial installations.

How is it mounted?

The fitting includes twelve lockable clips for ceiling or wall mounting. For suspended installation, a separate suspension kit is available. Stainless steel clips can be purchased separately for extra corrosion resistance in marine or highly corrosive environments.
