Description

The Knightsbridge 50x39cm LED bathroom mirror combines a glass mirror surface with two vertical frosted LED panels set behind the glass, delivering 1395 lumens of 4000K cool white light across the mirror face. A dual voltage shaver socket (115V/230V) is concealed within the pressed steel back plate, controlled independently from the LED lighting via a separate switch.

Designed for bathrooms, ensuite installations and wet rooms, the IP44 rating protects the electrical components from water splashes, making the mirror suitable for zones 2 and 3 in UK bathroom regulations. The pull cord switch mounted on the lower edge controls the LED panels, while the shaver socket operates on its own switch, allowing the mirror to remain lit while using electric shavers or toothbrushes. The 60mm projection from the wall accommodates the internal wiring and driver while keeping the overall profile relatively slim.

The pressed steel backplate supports the glass mirror without a visible frame, giving a frameless appearance from the front. The two frosted LED strips run vertically on either side of the mirror surface, diffusing the light evenly to reduce harsh shadows when shaving or applying makeup. The non-dimmable SMD LED array runs on a constant current driver rated for 30,000 hours (L70B50), equivalent to approximately 10 years of typical daily use. The cool white 4000K colour temperature provides clinical clarity for grooming tasks.

Yes. The dual voltage shaver socket operates independently from the LED panels via a separate switch control, allowing you to use electric shavers or toothbrushes without illuminating the mirror.

Which bathroom zones is this mirror rated for?
