This wooden mantel plaque brings the Five Little Ducks nursery rhyme to the shelf, with Mother Duck leading her five yellow ducklings along a pale blue base. Mother Duck is printed in soft brown with the words 'Mother Duck said quack quack quack quack', and each duckling carries its own number from 1 to 5 in a bright colour. The base reads 'Five little ducks went swimming one day, over the hills and far away...' in white lettering, and its wavy top edge looks like rippling water, with a smiling sun over green hills, a butterfly, a bee and a frog on a lily pad.
