The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate provides a matt black frame for custom AV, data and telephone installations using euro module inserts. The plate accepts four 25 x 50mm single-width modules, two 50 x 50mm double-width modules, or any combination of both sizes, allowing you to configure HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, telephone and other connections behind a single unified faceplate.

Designed for lounge media walls, home offices and smart home installations where multiple connection types need to sit together, the modular format means you buy only the specific inserts you need rather than a pre-configured panel with unused outlets. The rounded edge design sits flush to plasterboard and the built-in gasket behind the plate edge improves draught-proofing. The 146.5 x 87.75mm footprint matches a standard UK double-gang aperture.

The faceplate is stamped from premium-grade steel with a matt black powder-coated finish that resists fingerprints and pairs cleanly with modern, industrial and minimalist interiors. The euro modules (sold separately) clip into the rear of the plate from behind and are then fixed to the back box with the plate screws, so changing the module configuration later requires removing the plate but not re-terminating cables. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry indoor areas; the plate is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor use.

What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The plate accepts any standard euro module insert sized 25 x 50mm (single-width) or 50 x 50mm (double-width). Common options include HDMI, RJ45 data, USB-A, USB-C, coaxial TV, satellite F-type, 3.5mm audio, XLR and telephone RJ11 modules. Knightsbridge manufactures a full range; modules from other brands that meet euro module sizing also fit.

What back box depth is required?

The faceplate projection is 7.5mm, but the total depth needed depends on the specific euro modules you install. Most data and AV modules require a 35mm or 47mm back box. Check the specification of your chosen modules before ordering the back box.

Can the modules be changed after installation?

Yes. The euro modules clip into the rear of the faceplate and are held in place when the plate is screwed to the back box. To change the configuration, remove the plate screws, swap the modules, and refit the plate. The cable terminations behind the modules remain in place.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating is for dry indoor areas only. The plate is not rated for bathroom zones or any outdoor installation.
