4 Gang Modular Faceplate - Antique Brass Screwless

The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate is a screwless 147.5mm x 87.5mm plate in antique brass finish, designed to accept up to four euro module inserts for TV, data, HDMI, USB, telephone and other AV connections. The plate is fabricated from 201 stainless steel with an antique brass PVD coating that resists tarnishing and fingerprints over time.

Designed for media walls, home offices and living rooms where multiple AV and data connections need to be grouped cleanly, the faceplate uses a screwless cover that clips onto a separate mounting frame fixed to a 25mm or 35mm back box. This means no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The 4.3mm projection from the wall gives a low-profile finish, and the built-in gasket between the plate and wall prevents dust ingress behind the faceplate.

The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone that pairs with brass door furniture, cabinet handles and other period or classical interior details. The PVD coating on the stainless steel substrate gives better durability than lacquered brass plates, which can chip or discolour over time. Each of the four apertures accepts standard euro module inserts from Knightsbridge's modular range, allowing the plate to be configured for specific AV or data requirements on installation.

The plate carries an IP20 rating for indoor use, an earth terminal for bonding the metal faceplate to the electrical installation, and a 25-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.

What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The plate accepts any standard euro module insert from the Knightsbridge modular range, including HDMI, coax TV, RJ45 data, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio, RCA, and blank modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures from the front once the faceplate is installed.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed for most euro module configurations. Deeper modules (such as those with trailing cables or bulkier connectors) may require a 35mm back box. Check the specific module datasheets before specifying the back box.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The antique brass cover plate clips onto a separate metal mounting frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be unclipped for painting around the plate and re-clipped afterwards without disturbing the wiring or modules.

How does antique brass differ from polished or brushed brass?

Antique brass has a darker, aged patina with subtle tonal variation across the surface, giving it a warmer, less reflective appearance than polished brass. It pairs better with traditional, classical and period interiors than the brighter polished or brushed brass finishes.
