Description
The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate is a square-edge antique brass plate designed to house euro module inserts for custom AV, data and communication installations. The plate accepts four 25 x 50mm euro modules, or two 50 x 50mm modules, or a combination of both sizes, allowing you to configure the exact mix of HDMI, coaxial TV, RJ45 data, USB, telephone or audio outlets needed for a specific wall position.
Designed for behind-TV installations, AV racks, home office data points and media room consolidation, the faceplate replaces the need for multiple separate outlets by housing all connections behind a single coordinated plate. The square edge design sits flush to the wall surface with a built-in gasket that seals the gap between plate and plasterboard, preventing dust ingress and giving a clean finished edge. The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone that suits traditional, period and heritage interiors.
The premium-grade steel construction gives the plate rigidity when modules are inserted and removed, preventing flex that can crack plaster around the back box. At 149.3mm wide and 89mm tall, the plate covers a standard double-gang back box footprint. The required back box depth depends on which euro modules you install — shallow modules like blanking plates need minimal depth, while bulkier modules like HDMI pass-throughs or shielded data sockets may need 35mm or deeper boxes.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules fit this faceplate?
The plate accepts any standard euro module in 25 x 50mm or 50 x 50mm sizes. Common modules include HDMI, coaxial TV, Cat6 data, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio, BT phone, satellite F-type and blanking plates. Modules are sold separately.
What back box depth is required?
The required depth depends on which euro modules you install. Shallow modules like blanking plates need only 16mm, while shielded Cat6 data sockets or HDMI pass-throughs typically need 35mm or deeper. Check the specification of your chosen modules before selecting a back box.
Is the faceplate screwed or screwless?
This is a traditional screw-fixed faceplate with visible fixing screws at top and bottom. The screws are slotted to match the plate finish. Knightsbridge also produces screwless variants in some finishes if a no-visible-screw finish is preferred.
Can I mix 25mm and 50mm modules on the same plate?
Yes. The four-gang aperture can be configured as four 25 x 50mm modules, two 50 x 50mm modules, or a mix — for example, one 50 x 50mm module on the left and two 25 x 50mm modules on the right.
