Description
The Knightsbridge 4-gang grid faceplate provides a 149.3mm-wide mounting surface for four modular grid switches, sockets or outlets in a single horizontal row. Finished in antique brass with a square edge profile, the faceplate is cut from premium-grade steel and accepts standard Knightsbridge grid modules that clip into a separate GDF002F back frame (sold separately).
Designed for residential and commercial installations where multiple controls or outlets need to be grouped in a single aperture, the grid system allows switches, dimmer controls, TV points, data outlets and USB sockets to be mixed on the same faceplate. The 4-gang configuration suits kitchen islands, worktop runs, home office desks and media walls where multiple functions are required within reach of one location.
The antique brass finish offers a warm, slightly aged tone that coordinates with traditional, classical and heritage interiors. The square edge styling gives clean lines and a contemporary silhouette while the brass finish softens the modern geometry. At 10.5mm projection from the wall, the faceplate sits flush against the GDF002F back frame and provides IP20 protection when correctly installed with compatible grid modules.

Frequently Asked
What back frame is required?
This faceplate requires one GDF002F back frame (sold separately). The back frame fixes to the back box, and the grid modules clip into the frame before the faceplate is installed over the top.
What modules are compatible?
Any Knightsbridge grid modules in the same series will fit, including switches, dimmers, sockets, USB outlets, TV/data points and blank plates. The 4-gang faceplate accepts four single-width modules or two double-width modules side by side.
Can the faceplate be used with non-Knightsbridge grid systems?
No. This faceplate is designed for use with the Knightsbridge grid system only and will not fit back frames or modules from other manufacturers.
What back box depth is needed?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is typically required to accommodate the GDF002F back frame and the grid modules. Deeper modules such as dimmers may need a 47mm back box — refer to the specific module datasheets for exact requirements.
