Description
The Knightsbridge 3-gang 2-way intelligent dimmer handles loads from 5-400W for incandescent or halogen lamps, or 5-150W for dimmable LED lamps, across three independent rotary controls on a single white round-edge plate. Each gang can be switched between trailing-edge and leading-edge dimming modes using the front-facing controls, allowing the dimmer to adapt to different lamp technologies without removing the faceplate.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with multiple lighting circuits controlled from two positions, the 2-way function allows the dimmer to be paired with a second dimmer or switch elsewhere in the room for multi-point control. Each rotary knob operates on a push-on/push-off mechanism, turning the circuit on or off with a press and adjusting brightness with a turn. All setup functions including trim adjustment, mode switching and factory reset are accessible from the front knobs, so reconfiguring the dimmer for different lamp types does not require rewiring or dismounting the plate.
The 7mm rounded-edge plate is moulded from thermoset resin with an anti-microbial additive, giving the white finish resistance to surface bacteria growth in high-touch environments. The dimmer fits a standard 25mm minimum mounting box depth and projects 25.5mm from the wall once installed. The plate measures 86mm high by 146mm wide, covering a standard 3-gang aperture. The IP20 rating restricts the dimmer to dry indoor locations only.
Each gang must be used with dimmable lamps only — non-dimmable LEDs or CFLs will flicker or fail. For reliable operation, all lamps on a single gang should be the same brand, the same wattage and the same technology (do not mix LED with incandescent, or mix different LED wattages on the same circuit).

Frequently Asked
What's the difference between trailing-edge and leading-edge mode?
Trailing-edge mode suits most dimmable LED and low-voltage halogen lamps and produces smoother dimming with less flicker. Leading-edge mode suits older incandescent and mains-voltage halogen lamps. The dimmer can be switched between modes from the front knob to match the lamp technology you're using.
Can I use this with non-dimmable LED bulbs?
No. The dimmer requires dimmable lamps on all three gangs. Non-dimmable LEDs or CFLs will flicker, buzz or fail when connected to a dimmer circuit. Check the lamp packaging for "dimmable" or a dimmer-compatible symbol before use.
What does 2-way mean?
2-way allows the lighting circuit to be controlled from two positions in the room — for example, a dimmer at the door and a second dimmer or switch at the opposite end of a hallway. This requires compatible 2-way wiring between the two control points.
Why must all lamps on one gang be identical?
Mixing different lamp brands, wattages or technologies on a single dimmer gang causes uneven dimming, flicker and premature lamp failure because each lamp type responds differently to the dimming curve. For stable operation, keep all lamps on one gang identical.
