The Knightsbridge TRLEDA221EM is a 2ft twin LED non-corrosive emergency batten rated IP65, built with a yellow polycarbonate body and opal diffuser for use in industrial, commercial and outdoor environments where moisture, dust and impact resistance are required. The fitting houses integrated 22W LED modules delivering 2,850 lumens at 4000K cool white, with a built-in emergency backup system that maintains 280 lumens for up to three hours during mains failure.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, car parks, loading bays and outdoor canopy areas, the fitting operates across 110V–240V mains supply and installs via six lockable clips supplied with the unit. The yellow casing provides high visibility in construction zones and low-light environments, while the polycarbonate construction resists impact and moisture ingress to IP65 standard. The fitting is rated Class I and requires earthing on installation.

The 653mm length suits single-bay coverage in typical industrial and commercial ceiling grid layouts, and the twin-tube configuration spreads light more evenly than single-tube alternatives of the same wattage. The emergency mode can be set to maintained (always lit), non-maintained (emergency activation only), or switched (normal operation with emergency override), giving flexibility for different building and fire safety requirements. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty excluding the battery.

What emergency modes does this fitting support?

The fitting can be set to maintained (always lit on mains and battery), non-maintained (battery backup only activates on mains failure), or switched (normal on/off operation with emergency override). The setting is configured during installation. In emergency mode the fitting delivers 280 lumens for up to three hours.

Can this be installed outdoors?

Yes. The IP65 rating means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor canopies, loading bays, covered car parks and similar exposed but sheltered locations. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it will be submerged or subject to high-pressure water.

What voltage does it operate on?

The fitting operates across 110V–240V mains supply, allowing use on both standard UK 230V circuits and 110V site supply commonly found on construction sites and temporary installations.

How is the fitting mounted?

The unit installs via six lockable clips supplied with the fitting. Optional stainless steel clips and suspension kits are available separately for alternative mounting configurations. The fitting is Class I and must be earthed.
