Description

This is a 4ft LED batten, 1200mm end to end, drawing 20W and putting out 2,400 lumens at 4,000K. The body is white and the diffuser runs almost the full length, so the light comes out as an even line rather than a row of bright points. It is a screwless hinged batten, the term the manufacturer uses for a body that opens on its hinge rather than coming apart with a screwdriver. It is rated IP20, which means it is built for dry indoor use, and it is not dimmable.

A 4ft batten is the standard workhorse length for a garage, a workshop, a utility room, a cellar or a stockroom, and 2,400 lumens is a sensible figure for a single car bay or a small store.
