This Knightsbridge 20AX DP toggle switch module is a single-gang grid component in white thermoset resin, designed to clip into curved edge grid mounting frames from the front without tools. The double pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when off, providing safer control of high-draw appliances and circuits than single-pole alternatives. The 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V mains.

Used in modular grid installations where switch layouts need to be customised, the module pairs with Knightsbridge curved edge grid frames (sold separately) to build 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang or larger switch plates. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments; for bathrooms or outdoor use, alternative IP-rated modules are required. What is a grid system and how does this module work?

What's the difference between single pole and double pole switching?
