What is the key switch used for?

What grid system does this fit?

This module fits only Knightsbridge curved edge grid systems. It occupies one grid space (25mm width) and can be combined with other curved edge modules in 2-gang, 3-gang or larger grid plates. It is not compatible with standard flat grid systems or other manufacturers' grid products.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 35mm mounting box depth is needed for safe installation. The module itself has a 25mm depth with a 20mm recessed depth, so shallow boxes will not accommodate the internal terminals and wiring space required.

Is the key removable in both positions?

Key removal positions depend on the specific key switch mechanism. Most emergency lighting test switches allow the key to be removed in the off position only, preventing the switch from being left in the test position unattended.
