Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX DP key switch module is marked 'EMG LTG TEST' for emergency lighting testing and control. The module clips into the front of Knightsbridge grid mounting frames (sold separately) and uses a removable key to restrict access to the emergency lighting circuit. The 20AX double pole switching rating disconnects both live and neutral lines when in the off position.

Designed for commercial, institutional and industrial installations where emergency lighting requires controlled testing and maintenance access, the module is typically installed near building entrances, plant rooms or facilities management areas. What grid frame does this module fit?

The module fits Knightsbridge grid mounting frames in widths from 1-module to 6-module. The frame is sold separately and mounts into a standard 35mm minimum back box. Once the frame is fixed, modules clip in from the front without tools.

Is the key removable when the switch is on?

Key switch modules typically allow key removal in one position only (usually the off position) to prevent the key being left in the lock. Check the product specification sheet in the Downloads tab for the exact key-removal behaviour of this model.

What does the 20AX rating mean?
