Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX key switch module provides manual control of emergency lighting test circuits, with a brushed chrome faceplate engraved 'EMG LTG TEST'. The module accepts a removable key that rotates between two positions to switch the circuit on or off, preventing unauthorised activation of emergency lighting test cycles during normal building operation.

Designed for commercial, educational and public buildings where emergency lighting requires periodic manual testing, the module clips into Knightsbridge grid mounting frames (sold separately) without tools. The 2-way single-pole switching configuration allows the module to control a dedicated emergency lighting test circuit rated up to 20A at 230V. The included key can be removed in either position, allowing the circuit to be locked on during a test cycle or locked off when not in use.

The brushed chrome finish matches other Knightsbridge grid modules, allowing emergency lighting controls to be integrated into a coordinated bank of switches and sockets. The module measures 24.8mm wide (one grid position) and requires a minimum 35mm back box depth behind the grid frame. The ABS and steel construction carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry locations and a 25-year warranty.
