Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX 1-gang 2-way SP grid toggle switch is a modular component designed to clip into compatible grid mounting frames (sold separately). The switch controls a single lighting circuit with 2-way operation, allowing the same light to be controlled from two locations when paired with a second 2-way switch elsewhere in the circuit. The 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V mains.

Designed for grid systems in residential, office and light commercial installations, the switch module offers flexibility in configuring custom switch plates. Multiple modules can be combined in a single grid frame to create 2-gang, 3-gang or larger arrays of switches, sockets and other accessories. The anthracite finish provides a dark grey-black tone that pairs well with industrial, minimalist and contemporary interiors.

The toggle mechanism uses premium-grade steel and ABS construction with a tactile on-off action. The module measures 24.8mm wide by 56.3mm tall, fitting standard UK grid systems with a 35mm minimum back box depth. Grid systems allow you to build custom switch plates by combining individual modules (switches, sockets, dimmers) in a shared mounting frame. This switch module clips into a separate grid frame, which is then fixed to the back box. Both the frame and the module are required for installation.
