Description

The Knightsbridge 20A flex outlet plate provides a fixed-appliance connection point behind a matt white screwless faceplate. Rated at 20A on 230V mains, the plate handles cables up to 10mm diameter and is typically used for refrigerators, water heaters, electric towel rails and central heating boilers that require permanent connection to building wiring rather than a plug-and-socket arrangement.

The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, removing visible fixings from the wall once installed. The matt white finish provides a neutral backdrop that blends into white, off-white and light-painted walls without the visual weight of a traditional screw-fixed plate. The low-profile design sits close to the wall surface, minimising projection in tight spaces behind appliances.

The plate incorporates integrated cable strain relief to reduce wear on the cable sheath where it enters the back box, and twin earth terminals rated for 3 x 2.5mm² or 2 x 4.0mm² conductors to accommodate dual-earth installations.
