Description

This Knightsbridge 20A flex outlet plate provides a fixed wiring point for appliances that require a cable connection rather than a plug-and-socket arrangement. The matt black 304 stainless steel faceplate has a rounded edge profile and measures 85.75mm square with a 12.7mm projection from the wall once fitted to a back box.

Designed for fixed appliances such as bathroom fan heaters, extractor fans, water heaters, and cooker hoods where the appliance has a flex cable that needs to be permanently wired into the electrical circuit. The outlet accepts cables up to 10mm diameter through a central aperture with integrated strain relief, preventing the cable from being pulled free under load. The terminal block inside accommodates three 2.5mm² conductors or two 4.0mm² conductors with twin earth terminals.

The rounded edge detail softens the visual impact of the plate against the wall, while the matt black finish pairs with contemporary and industrial interiors. The 304 stainless steel construction gives corrosion resistance and durability in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms where moisture levels are higher than typical living spaces.
