Description

Telephone and data on the same plate, behind a screwless pink front that clips over its own frame so no fixing screws interrupt the face. The plate is square, 88mm on each side, keeping the same footprint as an ordinary single plate. The pink is a solid colour rather than a wash, flat and even across the moulding, with lightly softened edges so the outline sits quietly against a pale wall. The data side is Cat 5, wired for a standard ethernet lead; the telephone side takes a normal line.

We would fit this where a desk or a router lives against the wall and both a phone line and a wired network point are wanted from the same spot: a home office, a study alcove, a bedroom used for schoolwork, a hallway shelf holding the broadband kit. A cabled connection stays steadier than wireless for calls, video meetings and long file transfers, so it earns its keep behind a permanent workstation.
