Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts two 25x50mm euro-modules or a single 50x50mm euro-module behind a polished chrome flat plate. The faceplate itself is a blank frame with a rectangular aperture, allowing custom configurations of HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, or telephone modules to be built into a single unit and swapped out later without changing the faceplate.
Designed for wall-mounting AV and data outlets in living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and commercial installations where socket types need to be tailored to specific equipment, the 87.5mm square footprint fits standard 2-gang UK back boxes. The flat plate design projects just 2.5mm from the wall surface once fitted, giving a lower profile than raised-edge plates and sitting flush with most skirting and architrave. The two visible fixing screws allow the plate to be removed for decorating and refitted without disturbing the euro-module inserts.
The polished chrome finish gives a mirror-bright metallic surface that pairs with chrome taps, door handles and radiator valves in bathrooms and kitchens, and complements cooler-toned contemporary interiors. The premium-grade steel construction resists warping under typical installation torque, and the built-in gasket seals the edge between plate and wall to prevent dust ingress behind the faceplate. The earth terminal on the mounting frame allows the metal plate to be bonded to the circuit protective conductor where required by building regulations.

Frequently Asked
What euro-modules fit this faceplate?
The aperture accepts two side-by-side 25x50mm euro-modules or a single 50x50mm euro-module. Common modules include HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, RJ45 Ethernet, coaxial TV, and telephone sockets. Euro-modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front once the back box and mounting frame are wired.
What back box depth is needed?
The required depth depends on the euro-modules being fitted. Most single-socket modules (HDMI, USB, RJ45) work in a 25mm back box, but bulkier modules or multiple modules with rear cable dress may need 35mm or 47mm. Check the euro-module specification before ordering the back box.
Can the modules be changed later?
Yes. The euro-modules clip in and out of the faceplate aperture without tools, so configurations can be changed as equipment needs evolve. The faceplate itself is fixed to the mounting frame with two screws and stays in place.
What other finishes are available?
Knightsbridge produces this modular faceplate in a range of finishes including brushed chrome, matt black, polished brass, antique brass and white. Use the search function to find other finishes in stock at Niori.
