Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts euro module inserts for TV, HDMI, USB, data and telecom connections, housed behind a matt white screwless cover plate. The plate measures 235mm wide by 87.5mm high, fitting a standard UK double-gang aperture with two 25mm-wide module apertures for bespoke AV and data socket configurations.
Designed for media walls, home cinema installations, office desks and hospitality rooms where AV and data connections need a clean finish, the faceplate pairs with separately-sold euro module inserts to create custom socket layouts. The screwless cover clips onto a separate steel sub-frame fixed to the back box, hiding all fixings from view once installed. The 12.3mm overall depth and 4.5mm projection from the wall give a flush appearance on both plasterboard and solid walls.
The matt white finish provides a neutral backdrop that blends into white and off-white walls without the reflective shine of gloss finishes. The SPCC steel construction offers rigidity and long-term dimensional stability, backed by a 25-year guarantee. An integrated gasket between the faceplate and sub-frame improves the fit and reduces movement once clipped in place. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor locations.

Frequently Asked
What modules does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts standard euro module inserts, which are 25mm-wide units. Common options include HDMI, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio and BT phone. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures from the front once the sub-frame is wired.
How is the screwless cover removed?
The cover plate clips onto a metal sub-frame that is screwed to the back box during installation. To remove the cover, insert a flat tool into the release slot at the base of the plate and gently lever upwards to unclip. This allows access to the modules for maintenance or changes without disturbing the wiring.
What back box depth is required?
A standard 35mm double-gang back box is recommended to accommodate the sub-frame and leave sufficient depth for module wiring. Shallower 25mm boxes may work with low-profile modules, but check individual module depths before specifying.
Can the plate be painted?
The matt white finish can be painted, but remove the cover plate first to avoid paint sealing the clip mechanism. Mask the module apertures and use a primer suitable for steel surfaces before applying topcoat.
