Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate provides a 235mm-wide matt black screwless frame designed to accept euro module inserts for TV, HDMI, USB, data and telecom connections. The faceplate is constructed from SPCC steel with a matt black powder-coated finish, and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate mounting frame to hide fixings once installed.

Designed for media walls, AV installations and data points in residential and commercial settings, the faceplate accepts two standard euro modules side by side. Common configurations include dual HDMI outlets for display connections, combined TV and data points, or USB charging ports paired with network sockets. The integrated gasket between the cover plate and mounting frame provides a seal against dust and improves the fit tolerance on uneven walls.

The 235mm width and 87.5mm height match standard 2-gang UK wiring accessory dimensions, allowing the faceplate to fit existing 2-gang back boxes without modification. The matt black finish provides a 4.5mm-thick cover plate with minimal projection from the wall, sitting nearly flush once fitted. The powder-coated steel resists fingerprints better than gloss finishes and pairs cleanly with matt black TVs, monitors and other AV equipment in contemporary interiors.

What back box is required?

A standard 2-gang 35mm back box is needed. The faceplate dimensions match UK 2-gang wiring accessory standards, so it fits existing back boxes without modification.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The matt black cover plate clips onto a separate mounting frame that screws into the back box. The cover can be removed to change modules or for redecorating, then re-clipped without re-wiring.

Can it be used with dimmer or switch modules?

No. This faceplate is designed specifically for euro module inserts such as AV, data and telecom connections. For dimmer or switch functions, use Knightsbridge's dedicated switch and dimmer plates instead.
