Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate is an 89mm square antique brass plate with a central aperture that accepts two 25x50mm euro modules or one 50x50mm euro module. This allows custom configurations combining HDMI, USB, coaxial TV, RJ45 data, RJ11 telephone, or audio connections within a single faceplate, using Knightsbridge's euro module range (modules sold separately).
Designed for media walls, home offices, conference rooms, and hotel installations where multiple connection types are needed in one location, the faceplate mounts to a standard UK back box using two visible screw fixings. The square-edge design gives a defined border and a more traditional profile than curved-edge alternatives. The antique brass finish carries a warm aged-brass tone with darker patina detail that pairs well with traditional and heritage interiors.
The faceplate is constructed from premium-grade steel with a 10.5mm projection from the wall once installed. A built-in gasket between the faceplate and the back box provides a clean seal and reduces the risk of debris entering the box. The minimum back box depth required depends on which euro modules are installed — slim modules like keystones typically need 25mm depth, while bulkier HDMI or USB modules may require 35mm or deeper boxes.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts two 25x50mm euro modules or one 50x50mm euro module. Knightsbridge produces euro modules for HDMI, USB, coaxial TV, Cat5e/Cat6 data, RJ11 telephone, 3.5mm audio, optical audio, and blank plates. Modules are sold separately.
What back box depth is required?
Minimum depth depends on the euro modules installed. Slim keystone-style modules typically need 25mm depth. Bulkier modules like HDMI or USB may require 35mm or deeper. Check the specification sheet for the specific module you plan to fit.
Is this a screwless faceplate?
No. This is a traditional screw-fixed faceplate with two visible fixing screws. Knightsbridge also produces screwless versions of modular faceplates in various finishes if a screw-free finish is preferred.
Can I mix different module types in the same plate?
Yes. You can combine any two 25x50mm euro modules in the same faceplate, allowing you to pair an HDMI module with a USB module, or a data keystone with a coaxial TV module, for example.
