Strawberry brings a soft but confident pink to the wall, lifted by chrome rockers and a screwless plate. Both sockets are separately switched and rated at 13A, and the face also carries two USB-C ports sharing a 24W output, so a phone and a tablet can charge side by side while the sockets stay free for the kettle or a lamp. Nothing breaks the front except the switches and the ports.

We reach for a socket like this where the decoration is doing some work: a kitchen with painted cabinetry, a child's bedroom, a bright hallway, or a home office where devices need topping up through the day. The USB-C ports suit phones, earbuds and tablets on newer cables, which saves hunting for a plug-in charger. Because the output is shared, charging splits when both ports are in use, which suits overnight or desk-side use rather than a fast top-up before you leave. It runs on an ordinary household supply and belongs in dry indoor rooms, so keep it to living spaces, bedrooms and landings.

The plate is moulded polycarbonate with metal in the working parts, and the strawberry is a colour finish rather than a plated effect, so the tone stays even across the front. Cleaning asks very little: a barely damp cloth over the plate, dried straight away, and no bleach sprays, solvents or cream cleaners near the ports. It carries a ten year warranty. Our own preference is to keep the same colour running through every switch and socket in a room, and strawberry sits happily against warm white, chalky grey and natural timber. How fast will the USB-C ports charge?

The two ports share a 24W supply. A single device can draw the full amount, while two charging together divide it between them, so expect steady rather than rapid charging when both are busy.

Are the sockets switched?

Yes. Each of the two gangs has its own rocker switch, so you can isolate one appliance without unplugging the other.

What is the faceplate made from?

Polycarbonate for the moulded plate, with metal used in the internal working parts. The plate measures 146mm by 85mm.

How should I clean it?

Wipe the plate with a cloth wrung out in plain water and dry it immediately. Keep bleach sprays, solvents, polishes and cream cleaners away from the finish and the port openings.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outside?

No. It is intended for dry indoor rooms only, so choose kitchens, bedrooms, hallways, offices and living rooms.
