Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang 2-way intelligent dimmer supports loads from 5W to 400W for incandescent or halogen lamps, or 5W to 150W for LED lamps, behind a white round-edge thermoset resin faceplate. Each of the two gangs operates independently, allowing separate dimming control for two different lighting circuits or zones from a single wall plate.
The dimmer automatically detects lamp type and switches between trailing-edge and leading-edge modes to match the load, which removes the need to manually configure compatibility with different bulb technologies. The rotary push-on/push-off control knobs allow gradual dimming by rotation and instant on/off by pressing the knob itself. Front-accessible trimming and mode switching means that lamp minimum brightness and dimming behaviour can be adjusted without removing the faceplate or accessing the back box.
Designed for residential and light commercial installations, the dimmer fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and connects via 2-way wiring, allowing the same lights to be controlled from two different wall positions if paired with a secondary switch. The white round-edge finish sits 7mm proud of the wall and includes an anti-microbial coating on the thermoset resin surface. The dimmer carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor locations only.
Note that all lamps on a single gang must be of the same brand, type and wattage — mixing lamp types or wattages on one dimmer gang will cause flickering or compatibility issues. Only dimmable lamps should be used with this dimmer.

Frequently Asked
What's the difference between trailing-edge and leading-edge dimming?
Trailing-edge works best with LED and low-voltage halogen lamps, while leading-edge suits traditional incandescent and mains-voltage halogen. This dimmer detects the load type automatically and switches mode to match, so you don't need to configure it manually.
Can I mix different LED bulbs on the same gang?
No. All lamps controlled by a single gang must be the same brand, wattage and type. Mixing lamp types or wattages will cause flickering, buzzing or erratic dimming behaviour.
What does 2-way wiring mean?
2-way wiring allows the same lights to be dimmed from two different wall locations. You would install this dimmer at one position and a compatible 2-way switch or secondary dimmer at the other position.
Can I adjust the minimum brightness level?
Yes. The dimmer includes front-accessible trimming controls that allow you to set the minimum brightness level without removing the faceplate. This prevents the lamp from flickering or cutting out at the lowest dimming setting.
