The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang unswitched socket provides two 13A outlets behind a white rounded-edge plate made from thermoset resin. The plate measures 146mm wide by 86mm tall with a 7mm projection from the wall, and includes screw cap covers to hide the fixing screws once installed. The anti-microbial surface is third-party tested to ISO 22196:2011, providing added hygiene in kitchens, care homes, healthcare facilities and high-touch commercial environments.

Designed for residential and commercial installation where permanent power is needed without switched control, the unswitched configuration suits appliances that remain connected continuously — kitchen countertop appliances, bedside lamps left on timer switches, or office equipment that draws standby power. The socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and includes twin earth terminals for safe connection. Each outlet is rated to 13A, handling standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The white thermoset resin construction resists yellowing and impact damage better than standard thermoplastic faceplates, while the rounded edges reduce the risk of chip damage during installation or when moving furniture.
