Description

The Knightsbridge Flat Plate 13A 2-gang DP switched socket provides two independently switched 13A outlets with twin earth terminals behind a polished chrome flat plate with a grey insert. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when each outlet is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and features an ultra-low 2.5mm projection from the wall once fitted. The flat plate design uses a built-in gasket to sit flush against the wall surface, hiding the mounting box edge and creating a clean transition between the socket and the wall finish. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The polished chrome finish provides a mirror-bright metallic surface that pairs cleanly with contemporary, modern and minimalist interiors. The grey insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture. The socket insert itself sits recessed behind the plate when not in use, maintaining the flat profile. The matching chrome rocker switches control each outlet independently.
