The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds dual USB charging ports—one USB-C delivering up to 45W and one USB-A delivering up to 18W—behind a matt white screwless faceplate with a white insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate steel sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge (QC) protocols, allowing it to charge tablets and laptops at full speed. The USB-A port retains compatibility with older cables and devices. Both ports deliver adaptive voltage, adjusting output to match the connected device. The combined output is 27W over USB-C and 18W over USB-A when both ports are in use simultaneously.

The matt white finish provides a soft, non-reflective surface that pairs cleanly with white and light-toned contemporary interiors. The white insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture. The socket carries ErP Ready energy efficiency compliance, drawing 0.1W in standby mode, and includes overload, overheat and overcurrent protection.
