The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds USB-A and USB-C fast charge ports behind an anthracite screwless faceplate with a black insert. The USB-C port delivers up to 45W output, sufficient to charge laptops and tablets alongside phones on the 18W USB-A port. Dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation, the socket fits a 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet, while the USB ports operate independently and intelligently adjust voltage to match the connected device.

The anthracite finish provides a dark metallic accent that pairs well with industrial, contemporary and monochrome interiors.
