Description

The Knightsbridge SFR192RAT is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket combined with a 2-gang modular plate that accepts two 25x50mm euro module inserts, all behind a single anthracite screwless faceplate with a black insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation where power and data/AV connectivity are needed in the same location, the combination plate allows you to pair mains sockets with satellite TV coax modules, RJ45 ethernet modules, HDMI modules, or additional USB charging modules without installing multiple separate faceplates. The modular slots on the left accept any standard 25x50mm euro insert, giving flexibility to configure the plate to suit the room's wiring requirements during installation or to upgrade later without replacing the entire plate.

The screwless faceplate is constructed from premium-grade steel with an anthracite powder-coated finish that provides a dark metallic grey tone, sitting between matt black and brushed steel in appearance. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, hiding all screws and fixings once installed. The black insert behind the anthracite faceplate defines the edges of each outlet and module aperture. The 35mm minimum back box depth is deeper than standard single sockets due to the dual-function layout and the additional earth terminals for both socket and modular sections.

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. This is deeper than a standard single socket due to the combined socket and modular plate layout and the additional earth terminals.

What euro module inserts are compatible?

The two modular slots accept any standard 25x50mm euro module insert, including satellite TV coax modules, RJ45 ethernet modules, HDMI modules, USB charging modules, and blank plates. Modules are sold separately and can be swapped without replacing the entire faceplate.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring.
