Description

The Knightsbridge SFR192LAT combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with a 2-gang modular aperture on a single anthracite screwless faceplate. The modular section accepts up to two euro module inserts (25 x 50mm each), allowing you to add satellite TV, Ethernet, HDMI, USB charging or telephone connections alongside mains power without installing a second plate.

Designed for home cinemas, office desks, kitchen islands and bedside installations where both power and data/AV connections are needed in the same location, the combination plate reduces the number of individual faceplates on the wall and keeps cable runs tidier behind the scenes. The double-pole switching on both mains outlets isolates live and neutral when switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances. The screwless cover clips onto a separate steel sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the anthracite faceplate once installed.

The anthracite finish is a dark charcoal grey with a low-sheen coating that resists fingerprints and pairs cleanly with contemporary, industrial and monochrome interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate defines each outlet and modular aperture without creating visual contrast. The 230V 13A rating per outlet handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W, and the twin earth terminals on the socket provide separate earthing for each outlet. The plate requires a minimum 35mm back box depth due to the combined socket and modular insert accommodation.

What modular inserts can I use with this plate?

The 2-gang modular aperture accepts any standard euro module inserts sized 25 x 50mm. Knightsbridge produces a range including HDMI, Cat6 Ethernet, satellite F-type, USB-A, USB-C, telephone and blank modules. Search for "Knightsbridge euro module" at Niori to see compatible inserts.

What back box depth is required?

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed due to the combined depth of the socket mechanism and the modular insert housing. Standard 25mm boxes used for single sockets will not accommodate this combination plate.

Are the modular inserts included?

No. The plate is supplied with the 13A socket pre-fitted but the modular aperture is empty. Modular inserts are sold separately, allowing you to configure the plate for your specific requirements.

Can the screwless plate be removed for redecorating?

Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame that is fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without disconnecting any wiring.
