The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang SP switched socket adds two USB-A charging ports behind a polished chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. The single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, while the USB ports remain independently powered for continuous device charging.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W per outlet.

The polished chrome finish provides a reflective metallic accent that pairs well with modern kitchens, bathrooms (outside splash zones due to IP20 rating), and contemporary living spaces. The white insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture.
