Description
The Knightsbridge 10AX 3-gang 2-way switch features three rocker switches mounted on an 87.5mm square pearl flat plate with matching metal rockers. The 10AX rating supports lighting loads up to 2,300W per gang, making it suitable for circuits controlling multiple luminaires or dimmed lighting. The 2-way configuration allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two separate wall locations.
Designed for residential and commercial installations, the switch controls three independent lighting circuits from a single wall position. The 2-way wiring allows pairs of these switches to be installed at opposite ends of hallways, staircases or large rooms, giving control of the same lights from both entry points. The ultra-low 2.5mm profile sits nearly flush with the wall surface once fitted, reducing projection and minimising shadow lines in contemporary interiors.
The pearl finish is a soft warm off-white with a subtle metallic sheen, sitting between pure white and brushed silver. The matching metal rockers align flush with the plate when pressed, maintaining the flat profile. The premium-grade steel construction includes a built-in gasket behind the faceplate that seals against dust ingress, extending component life in daily-use locations. The 16mm minimum back box depth makes the switch compatible with shallow retrofit installations where wall cavity depth is limited.

Frequently Asked
What does 2-way switching mean?
2-way switching allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two separate wall locations. This is common for staircases, hallways and bedrooms where you need to turn lights on from one end of the space and off from the other. You need two 2-way switches wired in a loop to achieve this function.
What back box depth is required?
A minimum 16mm back box depth is needed. The ultra-low profile design makes this switch compatible with shallow retrofit installations where cavity depth behind the wall is limited.
What does the 10AX rating mean?
10AX means the switch can handle up to 10 amps of current on 230V mains, which equates to approximately 2,300W per gang. This is sufficient for typical domestic lighting circuits including multi-bulb ceiling lights and dimmed lighting.
What other finishes are available in this range?
Knightsbridge produces the flat plate range in multiple finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, matt black, white and antique brass. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.
