Description

The Knightsbridge CS2BC is a 10AX 1-gang 2-way plate switch built from premium grade steel with a brushed chrome finish and a matching metal rocker. The 10AX rating supports lighting circuits up to 2,300W at 230V, making it suitable for single or multiple light fittings controlled from two switch locations.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the 2-way switching configuration allows the same lighting circuit to be operated from two different wall positions — typically used at either end of a hallway, at the top and bottom of stairs, or at multiple entrances to a room. The screw terminals accept standard twin-and-earth cable and the built-in gasket provides a snug fit against the wall, reducing dust and light bleed around the plate edge.

The square-edge profile gives a clean geometric outline that sits flush with the wall surface, projecting just 10.5mm once fitted. The brushed chrome finish shows directional grain lines across the steel surface, offering a cooler metallic tone than brass and pairing well with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and modern minimalist interiors. The 89mm x 89mm plate fits a standard single-gang UK back box with a minimum depth of 16mm.
