Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 1-gang 2-way plate switch is a single-gang light switch with a square-edge antique brass faceplate and matching metal rocker. The 10AX rating handles loads up to 2,300W on standard 230V mains, making it suitable for controlling ceiling lights, wall lights and most domestic lighting circuits from two switch positions.

Designed for two-way lighting control, the switch is typically installed in pairs to control a single light or circuit from two different locations — common in hallways, staircases and larger rooms with multiple entrances. The switch requires a minimum 16mm back box depth and uses screw terminals for wiring. A built-in gasket sits between the faceplate and the wall to ensure a snug fit on installation.
