1 Gang Modular Faceplate - Black Nickel Rounded Edge

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate provides a single aperture for euro module inserts, finished in black nickel with a rounded edge profile. The 87.5mm square plate is constructed from 201 stainless steel with a black nickel PVD coating that provides corrosion resistance and a dark gunmetal tone. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once fitted.

Designed for bespoke AV, data and media installations, the faceplate accepts standard euro modules including HDMI, coaxial TV, CAT6 data, USB charging, telephone and satellite inputs. This makes it suitable for media walls behind wall-mounted TVs, desk installations in home offices, or bedside charging points where a custom socket configuration is needed. The single-gang format fits a standard 25mm minimum back box and can be positioned horizontally or vertically depending on the module orientation required.

The black nickel finish sits between polished chrome and matt black in tone, offering a middle ground for interiors that need a metallic accent without the brightness of chrome or the flatness of matt black powder coat. The rounded edge profile softens the transition between wall and plate, reducing the visual prominence of the fitting compared to square-edged alternatives. The 4.3mm plate depth and built-in gasket create a flush fit against the wall, minimising dust ingress around the aperture edge.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted, giving a total fitting depth of approximately 30mm from the back of the back box to the front of the plate.

What euro modules does it accept?

The single aperture accepts any standard euro module insert, including HDMI, coaxial TV, CAT5e/CAT6 data, USB charging ports, telephone sockets, satellite F-type connectors and blanking plates. Modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that is fixed to the back box with screws. The cover can be removed by releasing the clips, allowing modules to be changed or the wall to be redecorated, then re-clipped without rewiring.
