The Knightsbridge 1-gang grid faceplate is an 87.5mm square brushed brass cover plate designed for the Flat Plate Grid System. At 3.5mm projection from the wall, the ultra-flat design sits nearly flush with the mounting surface, reducing visual bulk compared to standard grid plates. The faceplate accepts a single grid module width (up to 25mm wide), allowing you to fit one switch, socket, dimmer or data module behind the brushed brass plate.

Designed for modular grid installations in residential and commercial interiors, this faceplate allows electricians and specifiers to build custom switch and socket layouts using Knightsbridge grid modules rather than pre-configured switch plates. The single-gang size suits locations where one control is needed — single light switches in hallways, single dimmer controls next to beds, or single data outlets in offices. The grid system itself requires a separate grid back box (sold separately) and grid modules (sold separately) to complete the installation.

The faceplate is constructed from premium-grade steel with a brushed brass finish that provides a warm metallic tone with a linear grain texture. The brushed finish reduces fingerprint visibility compared to polished brass and pairs well with traditional, classical and warm contemporary interiors. The plate carries an IP20 rating for standard indoor dry-area use and is backed by a 25-year manufacturer warranty. The visible fixing screws match the brass finish of the faceplate.
