The Knightsbridge 1-gang blanking plate covers unused or redundant electrical back boxes behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate. The 87.5mm square plate fits standard single-gang positions and projects just 4.3mm from the wall once the screwless cover is clipped onto its metal sub-frame.

Used in residential, commercial and hospitality settings where a back box has been installed but no electrical accessory is needed, the blanking plate provides a finished surface that matches adjacent switches and sockets in the same Knightsbridge range. The screwless cover clips on and off without tools, making it straightforward to remove for redecorating or if the box is later needed for a live fitting.

The brushed chrome finish is applied to premium-grade steel, giving a directional grain texture that reduces fingerprints and reflections compared to polished chrome. The plate carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry-location use, includes an earth terminal for safety compliance, and is certified to IEC 60670-1.
