Description

The Zuma is a 1100mm linear chandelier built around a rectangular satin black shade with a faceted geometric surface, suspended from a matching black canopy on twin cables. Beneath the shade hangs a continuous curtain of fine silver-finish chain that extends 330mm below the shade edge, creating a cascading fringe effect across the full width of the fitting. Inside the shade sit six E27 bulb holders wired in parallel, each taking a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a linear light source suits the space better than a radial chandelier, the Zuma provides both functional downlight through the chain and a decorative focal point. The 1100mm width suits tables and islands in the 1600-2400mm length range, with the drop adjustable on installation from a minimum 382mm to a maximum 3309mm using the 3050mm supplied cable. Most installations set the fitting 700-900mm above the table surface, placing the bottom of the chain approximately 1900-2100mm above the floor.

The faceted black shade is pressed from sheet metal with a low-sheen satin black powder-coat finish, while the chain curtain uses individual links in a silver metallic finish that catches and reflects light from the bulbs above. The geometric faceting on the shade creates a prismatic effect under direct light, with each angled surface catching ambient room light differently depending on viewing angle. The combination of black geometric form and silver chain softens the industrial character of the metal construction, making the fitting compatible with both contemporary minimalist interiors and eclectic spaces mixing metals and textures.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes six E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 6-8W and 2700K for a warm glow through the chain curtain.

What table or island length does it suit?

The 1100mm width suits dining tables and kitchen islands between 1600-2400mm in length. For shorter tables the fitting may visually dominate, while for longer islands you may need two Zuma pendants spaced along the length.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation using the 3050mm supplied cable, which allows settings from 382mm minimum to 3309mm maximum. Once installed and ceiling rose fitted, shortening or lengthening the drop requires re-accessing the ceiling void to adjust the cable run.

How is the chain curtain maintained?

The individual chain links can collect dust over time. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth or use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low suction. Avoid pulling or snagging the chain during cleaning.
