Description

The Zuma is a 1100mm linear chandelier built around a geometric satin black metal shade with a curtain of fine gold jeweller's chain hanging from the lower edge. Six E27 bulb fittings sit inside the shade, casting light downwards through the gold chain fringe and creating ambient glow from the sides of the shade. The canopy and suspension cables are finished in matching satin black.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands between 1.6m and 2.2m long, the Zuma's linear profile spreads light evenly along the table surface when suspended 700-850mm above. The 3050mm of wire allows the chandelier to be set anywhere from 382mm to 3309mm drop, making it suitable for standard 2.4m ceilings and double-height spaces alike. The rectangular canopy measures approximately 1100mm x 220mm and fits UK ceiling roses with standard wiring.

The shade itself is faceted into a repeating geometric pattern that catches light at different angles depending on viewing position. The satin black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, directing attention to the gold chain fringe below. Each chain strand hangs independently, so air movement in the room creates subtle motion within the fringe. The combination of the angular black shade and the fluid gold chains contrasts hard geometry with soft movement.

The six E27 sockets accept standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately). Warm-white LED bulbs in the 2700K-3000K range pair well with the gold chain finish. The chandelier weighs approximately 8-10kg when fully assembled, so ceiling fixings must be rated for the load plus a safety margin.
