Description

The Zero Round Vertical is a ring pendant light: a slim circle 74cm across that hangs upright, with an integrated LED running around the ring as one continuous line of light. As the LED is built in, there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 36W and gives 3059lm, with a CRI of 90, so food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours beneath it. We offer it in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium, and in a 2700K or a 3000K version: 2700K gives a warmer glow, 3000K a slightly crisper white.

It comes without its canopy, and it needs one to work: a Zero Round Vertical ceiling canopy, sold separately, for one or three pendants. The canopy fixes to the ceiling and holds a built-in 60W driver for each pendant, which feeds the ring at 24V DC and gives DALI or push dimming. Hung singly over a dining table, one ring frames the space above it and gives the table its own light. In a living room, three rings from one canopy make a group that holds its own in a tall or open room. Each ring can hang on a drop of up to 500cm, so there is room to set the height you want.

It is a Class III fitting rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. Power comes from the mains through the canopy, which a qualified electrician wires in; the canopy's driver then runs the ring at 24V DC. Choose your dimming control to match the canopy, DALI or push, before the electrician arrives. When you order, settle how many rings each canopy will carry and the drop each ring will hang at, then pick the finish and the colour temperature to suit the room. Our photographs show the white version.
